Born in Naples, Italy, Frank Massey’s early influences include the Neapolitan Power and the Neapolitan Renaissance movements of the late 70s and early 90s, featuring a soul, and funk-infused mediterranean mix of jazz and rock. After moving to San Diego, California, Frank released the album Funky Nights in 2021, featuring renowned jazz saxophonist Les Arbuckle and Argentinian drummer Bernardo Yacono.
In 2023 Frank graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, with an associate degree in music and technology with concentration on guitar, and since then he has been active in the San Diego area, performing live and producing music through different projects.
Frank is well versed in music theory, reading and writing music, composition, production, sound processing, and performance. He also has an extensive engineering education and is an Avid Pro Tools user certified.
